today … What an experience!
I'm sure that
everyone who is going to read this article will definitely feel identified at
least with a small part of an event
lived “by my own flesh”. Experiences like the one I will share with you, happen
every day worldwide, but with no doubt, mine was awful.
Good
afternoon, my name is Gregorio Mesa, and today I want to invite you to put on my shoes through this story. Last
week I had this experience in a restaurant named
“Taquitoos”. Basically I am now letting it all go out, because I did not have
the possibility to do so while It had
happening to me in the restaurant and
because I really want to listen to your opinion.
So, I am not joking, since the very beginning when I arrived, it was impossible for me to find a space for my car in the parking lot. I was truly amazed because the restaurant is definitely a prestigious one in the city and not having a good parking lot for their clients' cars is totally illogic and incoherent. Also, if you check their web page, they mention that they do have a parking lot, however the one they have is small and is located far away from the restaurant, this is not nice at all because you have to walk a lot from one place to another, in my case I had to walk approximately for 15 minutes with my wife to get to this famous restaurant “Taquitoos”. I should also mention that my wife is pregnant so this duplicates her tiredness.
Then, the bad service kept on going with a long wait in the entrance door, even though I had already a reservation at 8 pm to get dinner there. I should mention that we got 20 minutes extra time, having in mind possible traffic jam. So we were in the restuarant (at the door) at 8 pm sharp after 15 minutes of delay walking from the parking lot. We stood in the entrance door waiting for an hour, minutes passed by and we were still not eating those beef tacos we had been dreaming of!
When we were finally inside the restaurant, sitting at the table, my wife said to me that I really needed to relax and to enjoy the food and that it was a great opportunity to be together, and the fact that we were celebrating our fith anniversary made me considered that her idea was good to be accepted. Thus, was that I started to count until ten and I was getting more relaxed and started looking the good side of this experience.
However, few minutes later my anger began to rise again, we had to wait 30 minutes to be attended by the waiter and only because my wife asked me to calm down because she wanted to have a pacific and relaxed night, I did not discussed with the waiter, believe me I was so tolerant. Even once again they were irresponsible and unpunctual. I took a deep breath again hoping problems would disappear, but the bad service had only started.

finally arrived and guess what? It wasn't the one we ordered, our beef tacos
weren't there. Once again my wife asked me to avoid arguing and eat what
we had in front of us because time was going by and we had to get back home. Our
daughter Isabella was waiting for us at home and she was sick.
Finally , the first good thing, besides I was with my beloved wife, I cannot hide this, I shall confess that the food was great, it was a bit cold but really delicious. When we finished eating and talking, I asked for the bill and as the waiter showed it to me, I noticed some mistakes, they were charging us for food we did not asked for and we didn't even eat. So that was definitely the one detail that made my glass overflow, it was disgusting. Not only because of all the problems we had from the beginning with the parking lot and the waiting line, we also had them waiting for our food and at the end, cherry on top of the icing! with the bill. I can wrap all this up with the decision of never going there again, “Taquitoos” restaurant I am so sorry, but I am quiet disappointed.
But what about you? What do you think about all this? Isn't this a discouraging experience? Do you think I was right with my behavior? What would you have done if mine were your case? And if you have had already an experience similar to mine, I am willing to listen about it.

Hi Greg, I think that it is a this a terrible experience, you should have talked with the manager. Definitely I wouldn't visit "Taquitoos". Luck for the next time.

ResponderEliminarThis is a terrible experience , I had been in similar situations, but I think that the restaurants which have a lot of people often happens , because they don't have a good organization for a lot of people .
Hi Gregorio, I just can recomend you other places where you can go and enjoy a delicious tacos, maybe you can go to Tacos los "Chupas" or "chupacabras" and El borrego viudo

ResponderEliminarHi Gregory, that was a disgusting experience, If I were you, I would call the waitress to tell the bad reality of the restaurant. It is going to be a good option to go to another restaurants. I had a similar experience in Ponte Almeja, but the food is delicious. See you. Bye.

ResponderEliminarI think you had a bad experience, if I were you, I would call the manager to tell the bad service of the restaurant or I would simply have gotten off the table and gone to a better place because at the end you will pay the bad service and you will pay for what you ate.

Hi Gregory! I think that the restaurant "Taquitoos" have a very bad service, starting for the long time they made you wait, because if they have a big restaurant and they have prestigious, they need to have the correct number off personal to have a good and quick service. Thank you!
